Hillside Garden and Spa
3D Visuals, Master Plan
The 3D visualizations of the Hillside Garden reveal a sweeping landscape across the site’s steepest gradient, offering panoramic views and inviting exploration. Multiple pathways, rendered at varying elevations and angles, highlight the garden’s core invitation: to choose routes freely, guided by light, time, or seasonal interest.
The visuals showcase both formal paths and meandering trails, allowing visitors to shift between expansive vistas and intimate pockets of greenery. Even where tall plantings partially obscure the way, the sense of discovery and the importance of these breathing spaces are clearly conveyed.
No single viewpoint reveals the whole story; instead, the renderings emphasize how every choice shapes a unique visitor experience. The shifting play of light, texture, and planting invites a slower pace, encouraging personal connection with the landscape.

Working from the garden’s design drawings, I built bespoke 3D models of the hard landscaping and architectural features, aligning them with the site’s steep gradient. After refining materials, lighting, and scale through multiple iterations, I introduced planting in a suggestive—rather than strictly accurate—manner, capturing the overall mood and seasonal shifts. Final post-processing accentuated key features, creating cohesive visuals that reflect the design’s intent and invite exploration.
